Razzu Tuladhar

Razzu Tuladhar has been associated with the travel industry for over fourteen years. Having been born in a prominent and one of the pioneer hotelier families of Kathmandu, he practically grew up in a tourist service culture. After having completing his graduation it was natural for him to enter in the travel industry. Razzu has been associated with Caravan Travels (1990 – 1992) and Paramount Nepal Tours & Paramount Nepal Treks as Partner and Operational Director (1993 – 2006) before finally deciding to head Device Travels and Tours. Having led many treks and tours in Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and Sikkim plus a thorough knowledge of the tourism industry of Nepal backed by hands on experience in operations qualifies him to live up to his claims. “Our organizational goal is very simple. We strive to develop a mutually beneficial relationship by delivering the best products at the most competitive rates backed by the best service available.” |

Marian Leighton

Marian Leighton spent many years as an expatriate from Canada, starting in 1987 when she and her New Zealand husband and young daughter left for two years in Indonesia. She then lived for 18 years in Saudi Arabia with her family, which allowed them to travel extensively. For the past several years she has been leading tours to Turkey, Kenya and the Himalayas. She has led cultural tours throughout Turkey as well as sailing holidays on the family’s catamaran out of Bodrum, Turkey. Since 2004 Marian has worked with Razzu Tuladhar as a tour leader in the Himalayas, primarily for clients from the Middle East, although clients have travelled from as far away as New Zealand, the US, Canada, South Africa and the UK. Marian leads tours both in Nepal and to Bhutan, Sikkim and Tibet. She also leads treks to the Annapurnas as well as to Everest Base Camp. She and her family returned to Canada in 2009 but she still continues to lead Himalayan tours and treks with Razzu Tuladhar.
Marian will be happy to assist in the planning of any tour that you might be interested in and if you wish to have a Western tour leader accompany your group, no matter what size, she will be pleased to assist in that too. |
